My name is Andy, and I’m a multidisciplinary creative focused on building thoughtful, adaptable design for organizations and teams working in real-world contexts.
With nearly a decade of experience in design and six years working within advertising environments, I bring a balance of concept development, execution, and practical marketing understanding. My work spans identity systems, campaigns, illustration, and ongoing brand support — often in collaboration with agencies or as a long-term partner for nonprofits and community-focused organizations. I approach projects with flexibility and intention, adapting my role to what’s needed while staying grounded in clarity, consistency, and purpose. Whether refining an existing brand or contributing to a larger creative system, my focus is on creating work that resonates with audiences and holds up over time. I’m a fluent Spanish speaker and have experience supporting Spanish-speaking and bilingual communities, allowing me to approach projects with added cultural awareness and care when working across diverse audiences. Creativity has always been central to how I understand the world. Drawing, writing, and making were constant from an early age, and discovering graphic design gave that instinct a clear purpose. I earned my BFA from Fresno State and continue to approach my work as a researcher and learner — interested in how people communicate, connect, and respond to visual language. At its core, my practice is rooted in using design as a tool: one that informs, supports, and connects people thoughtfully and responsibly. |
